How results are ordered: alphabetically by institution, or by most recently checked when you choose that sort. There is no price ranking, because tuition in different currencies, fee categories and bases (per year, per credit, whole program) is not comparable. Adjacent subjects such as landscape architecture appear only when you choose a subject. A value we could not verify is shown as “not published”, never as “no”. Items marked Sponsored are paid placements; they never change accreditation information, verification or order. Online programs are not counted as physically located in a state or city, and an institution’s location does not tell you whether it enrols students from your country.
In the UK the title architect is protected and registration is with the Architects Registration Board (ARB). The established route is three stages (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3) plus practical experience, while ARB is moving to a new framework based on Competency Outcomes, with the transition due to finish by December 2028. Degrees in the Part 1 and Part 2 stages are typically taught as a three-year bachelor's and a two-year master's, and many schools are introducing four-year integrated master's courses; classify each course from its own page.
Names and levels are local to United Kingdom. Similar names in other countries are not interchangeable.
Accreditation, validation, education authority and registration are different roles. Do not read a listing by one body as evidence from another.
Current rules as described by the official source; always check the authority directly.
To use the title architect in the UK a person must register with ARB. ARB currently accepts accredited UK Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 qualifications under the old framework, and is transitioning to Competency Outcomes with master's-level academic and practice-level qualifications; ARB says the transition is due to finish by December 2028 and that previously accredited qualifications remain usable. Check ARB for the rules that apply to a specific course and start year. Source
No degree on this site automatically permits anyone to practise as an architect, and nothing here is visa, work-permit or credit-transfer advice.
Teaching languages. English is the language of instruction at the courses recorded here; Welsh-medium and other provision is outside the scope of the courses researched so far.
Admissions and portfolios. Architecture courses typically ask for a design portfolio and may add an interview; postgraduate Part 2 courses usually expect a Part 1 (or equivalent) degree and often some practice experience. Requirements are set per course and per entry year.
