How results are ordered: alphabetically by institution, or by most recently checked when you choose that sort. There is no price ranking, because tuition in different currencies, fee categories and bases (per year, per credit, whole program) is not comparable. Adjacent subjects such as landscape architecture appear only when you choose a subject. A value we could not verify is shown as “not published”, never as “no”. Items marked Sponsored are paid placements; they never change accreditation information, verification or order. Online programs are not counted as physically located in a state or city, and an institution’s location does not tell you whether it enrols students from your country.

About architecture education in Singapore

How architecture education is organised

The Board of Architects Singapore (BOA) recognises architecture qualifications for registration. Its register page lists the Master of Architecture from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and from the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), plus NUS's older Bachelor of Architecture (before 2001), and requires at least five years of full-time on-campus architectural study. SUTD describes its route as a four-year bachelor's followed by a one-year MArch.

Qualification structures

Names and levels are local to Singapore. Similar names in other countries are not interchangeable.

Five-year route: bachelor's plus Master of Architecture
SUTD's MArch builds on a 4-year undergraduate programme and takes one year, or two on a two-year track for applicants with only three years of architecture study. NUS pages could not be read in this pass (bot protection), so its structure is not recorded. Source
Polytechnic diplomas with advanced standing
The BOA says polytechnic diplomas in architecture-related courses may earn up to two years of advanced standing at overseas universities, but graduates must still complete at least three years of full-time on-campus architecture study. Source

Bodies that matter, and what each one does

Accreditation, validation, education authority and registration are different roles. Do not read a listing by one body as evidence from another.

Board of Architects Singapore (BOA)
Statutory authority that administers the Architects Act 1991: keeps the register of architects, sets and recognises academic qualifications for registration, holds the professional practice examination and regulates conduct. Its pages describe qualifications as 'recognised' for registration; SUTD describes the same relationship as 'accredited'.
Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA)
Professional institute of architects named in its title; its specific role was not researched beyond its homepage.

Route to registration

Current rules as described by the official source; always check the authority directly.

Per the BOA, an applicant needs an approved academic qualification in architecture (a minimum of five years of full-time on-campus study), then at least two years of practical experience including 12 continuous months in Singapore, and must pass the professional practice examination; other routes with longer experience exist, and the Board must be satisfied the applicant is a fit and proper person. No degree on this site automatically permits anyone to practise as an architect, and nothing here is visa, work-permit or credit-transfer advice.
